“My 2 cents”. As in, my advice is 2 cents. You may not understand it now, but you will later.

Your health is very important. You might not realize it now, but if you don’t keep yourself healthy while you are young, you won’t be healthy when you’re older. Everyone wants to live a healthy lifestyle, but many people don’t know how to, so let me tell you the key points of living a good lifestyle.

WASH YOUR HANDS OFTEN. Washing your hands with soap and water is one of the most effective ways to prevent the spread of illness.
GET ENOUGH SLEEP. Getting a good amount of sleep is very important no matter what age you are
KEEP YOURSELF WELL HYDRATED. Water is a very vital part of our life. As a tween, you need to drink at least 9-10 cups of water a day. Drinking lots of water is the most powerful and effective way to stay healthy. Water can solve many problems in your body and the best part about water is that “you can never drink too much of it”.
STAY PHYSICALLY ACTIVE. Physical Activity is very needed for our wellness but especially for our digestive system. Without physical activity, our digestive system can develop all types of problems like constipation, cancer, and irritable bowel syndrome.
EAT HEALTHY. Again eating healthy is linked to our wellness. If you don’t watch what you’re eating you can get all sorts of problems like being overweight, high blood pressure, type-2 diabetes, and some cancers
START THE DAY WITH A HEALTHY BREAKFAST. It refuels the body and provides energy for the day
EAT MORE FRUITS AND VEGETABLES. Aim for a total of 2 cups of fruit and 2 1/2 cups of vegetables each day.
A good, balanced diet is an important part of a healthy life for kids your age. This should include at least 5 portions of a variety of fruit and vegetables every day, meals based on whole grains and starchy vegetables, such as potatoes, bread, pasta, and rice, also have some milk and dairy products, and lastly, foods that are good sources of protein, such as meat, fish, eggs, beans, and lentils. It is very important to not overeat.

Another essential factor for a healthy life is proper hygiene. Some examples of good hygiene are: Taking showers every day, Washing your hair three times a week, brushing your teeth 2 times a day, trimming your nails, and using deodorant daily. You must wash your hands when: when hands look dirty, before eating food, after touching animals, after blowing your nose, sneezing or coughing, after going to the bathroom.

Now, I’m not expecting you to thank me or to take this advice into consideration, but I do hope you try your best to stay healthy and happy. As an older sister though, this is my advice – my 2 cents.
